Westfield Specialty International, a provider of specialised insurance solutions, has expanded its reinsurance team with the appointment of Nate Field as Class Underwriter in casualty treaty reinsurance.

Field will be based in London, and brings almost 15 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry.

Most recently, he served as a Senior Treaty Underwriter at Bermuda-based reinsurer RenaissanceRe.

In March, the firm strengthened its Professional Indemnity (PI) team with the appointment of Pete Stephens as the new Head of the unit, while Hattie Hassall joined as a Senior PI Underwriter, also in the London office.
