Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer SiriusPoint has announced the appointment of Eleanor Gibson as International Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), effective May 6th, 2025.<\/p>\n

\"\"Based in London, Gibson will report to Rob Gibbs, President & CEO of SiriusPoint International, and Anthony Shapella, Group Chief Underwriting Officer.<\/p>\n

In her new role, she will provide strategic leadership to underwriting and portfolio management teams across SiriusPoint International, with a focus on driving profitable growth and performance.<\/p>\n

Gibson brings 30 years of industry experience. She joins from AIG, where she spent the past six years, most recently as Credit Lines Chief Underwriting Officer, overseeing global commercial underwriting in Trade Credit, Trade Finance, Political Risk, and Surety Run-Off.<\/p>\n

Prior to that, Gibson was a Senior Underwriter at Tokio Millennium Re. She also held roles at Lloyd\u2019s, Radian, Merrill Lynch, Rhine Re, Bankers Trust International, and at R.J. Kiln & Co. where she started her career.<\/p>\n
