The Fidelis Partnership (TFP), a privately owned, Bermuda-domiciled managing general underwriter, has appointed Peter Welton as its new Head of Specialty.<\/p>\n

\"fidelis-partnership-logo\"In the role, Welton will report to John-Paul O\u2019Hare, TFP\u2019s Director of Underwriting.<\/p>\n

He takes on responsibility for supporting the continued growth of TFP\u2019s leading specialty offering focusing on aviation, space and energy re\/insurance lines, and growing the renewables book.<\/p>\n

Most recently, he served at AXA XL as the Chief Underwriting Officer for Marine, Energy and Aerospace, UK & Lloyd\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Welton has previously held roles including UK Head of Downstream Energy & Power Generation at XL Catlin. He brings a wealth of specialist market expertise to his new role and over twenty years of experience in the specialty insurance markets.<\/p>\n
