They will work closely with the global broking team to enhance Texel\u2019s client services and market presence.<\/p>\nTexel Group, a specialist in credit and political risk insurance, has announced that H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Heas and Davis Ng have joined its Singapore office as brokers, and will report to Angela Chang, Managing Director of Texel Asia.<\/p>\n
Heas and Ng will play key roles in expanding Texel’s business across the Asia Pacific region. They will work closely with the global broking team to enhance Texel\u2019s client services and market presence.<\/p>\n
Heas comes from Coface, where she served for nearly a decade, most recently as the Regional Head of Financial Institutions for APAC.<\/p>\n
She also has experience as a Vice President in Loan Syndications, Origination & Sales at Cr\u00e9dit Industriel et Commercial in France.<\/p>\n
Chang said: “H\u00e9l\u00e8ne and Davis are fantastic additions to our Singapore team. H\u00e9l\u00e8ne has spent the last 10 years with one of the major trade credit insurance companies and before that working for the fourth largest banking group in France.<\/p>\n
She brings significant expertise on international banking products as well as credit insurance. We\u2019re delighted to have another strong female representative on board Texel Asia and excited to see what we can achieve as a team.”<\/p>\n
Heas holds a Certified Trade Finance Professional designation from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and is a member of the South East Asia Regional Committee of the International Trade and Forfaiting Association (ITFA).<\/p>\n
Heas said: \u201cTexel is a leader in the credit insurance market. It has a fantastic reputation among its client base and among the insurance industry, particularly having advised on many landmark transactions. I am looking forward to using my experience of being both on the client and insurer side to ensure Texel remains a trusted partner.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ng brings almost 15 years of experience in financial services and investments, having worked in Singapore and Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
He commented: “I\u2019m thrilled to be joining Texel Asia, a company renowned for its specialist knowledge and in-depth expertise. Texel’s reputation for collaboration and excellence is unmatched, and I look forward to working closely with Angela and the team to drive the growth in the Asian market.\u201d<\/p>\n
Most recently, Ng was Executive Director at Arcor Capital, where he led private capital transactions in Asia. Ng also has experience as a strategy and debt-raising consultant for early-stage companies.<\/p>\n
His background includes roles in structured finance and private credit at institutions like SMBC, GE Capital, and ANZ Bank. He is currently completing an MS in Finance at NYU Stern.<\/p>\n
Chang continued: “Davis is an experienced capital solutions and structured finance professional, having worked with banks, private debt and funds. His well-rounded experience in private credit extends to leveraged finance, project finance and infrastructure, which will be enormously beneficial to our clients and partners. Davis will no doubt enrich the team with his perspectives, and we look forward to supporting each other to deliver more and better solutions for our growing client base.<\/p>\n
