Lockton, a privately held insurance brokerage, has announced the appointment of Paul Primavera as National Construction Practice Leader.
Based in Los Angeles, Primavera will report to Chris DiLullo, U.S. Industry Practices Leader at Lockton.
In his new role, he will build on Lockton’s construction expertise to drive growth, enhance client engagement, and optimise resources nationwide. He will lead the firm’s national construction strategy, reinforcing Lockton’s commitment to excellence and innovation across the U.S.
Primavera brings decades of experience in the construction industry. He has been with Lockton for nearly 17 years, most recently serving as National Risk Control Services Practice Leader, where he helped clients develop tailored solutions to claims and exposure-related challenges.
Before joining Lockton, he held senior roles at Willis for three years and at Travelers for 14 years.
DiLullo commented, “Rising litigation costs, labor shortages, and price fluctuations in building materials — driven in part by tariffs — are creating significant economic and operational challenges for the construction industry.
“Paul brings a wealth of experience, a sharp eye for detail, and deep industry knowledge to this role. He has been, and will continue to be, a tremendous asset to Lockton and our clients during this critical time.”
“The construction and design industry is the foundation Lockton was built on,” said Primavera. “We have many talented construction specialists across the firm, and I look forward to working together to bring innovative and comprehensive solutions to our clients.”
Construction is Lockton’s largest specialty. With more than 300 Associates dedicated to construction and design, Lockton serves many of the nation’s leading builders, designers, contractors, and trade specialists—delivering risk management systems tailored to their exposures, risk tolerances, and business goals.
