Global insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has appointed Neil Maynard as Chief Broking Officer, Aviation, for its London-based Global Broking Centre.

Based in London, Maynard will report to Alex Gibson, Transportation and Logistics Leader, and Tracy Toro, Global Industry Speciality Leader, Aviation. In his new role, he will lead the broking strategy for Aon’s aviation clients.

Maynard brings more than 30 years of experience in aviation broking. He joins Aon from Gallagher, where he was a Senior Partner at Gallagher Aerospace, following a similar role at Pig Risk Partners.

Previously, he spent 26 years at WTW, most recently serving as Managing Director of its aerospace division.
