Westchester, global insurer Chubb’s excess and surplus lines division, has announced the appointment of Dave Roberts as Chief Operating Officer.

In this role, Roberts will oversee operations for Westchester’s recently established Property, Casualty, and Financial Lines Business Practices, which include Digital, Middle Market, Programs, Operations, and IT.

He will report to David Lupica, Vice President, Chubb Group, and Division President of Westchester.

Roberts brings nearly 20 years of insurance industry experience. He most recently served as Executive Vice President, Head of Digital and Middle Market at Westchester. Prior to that, he held several senior leadership roles, including responsibility for Westchester’s Small Business products, business development, underwriting operations, and profitability performance.

Earlier in his career, Roberts held positions at United States Liability Insurance and Gateway Specialty Insurance.
