Netanyahu resolved to maintain Israeli military presence in Gaza


Despite growing calls from within Israel for a cease-fire and hostage release deal, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted Wednesday the Israeli military must remain in Gaza in order to seal the southern Gaza border, known as the Philadelphi Corridor, in order to stop Hamas from smuggling in weapons.
