Chubb names Amelie Fava-Verde as SVP, NA, Chubb Resilience Services



Global property and casualty (P&C) insurer Chubb has appointed Amelie Fava-Verde to the newly created role of Senior Vice President of North America Chubb Resilience Services.

ChubbIn her new role, Fava-Verde’s remit includes building and leading a team focused on the development and delivery of resilience and recovery services.

This position aims to expand Chubb’s risk engineering and resiliency capabilities for clients transitioning to a low-carbon economy.

Fava-Verde’s 20 years of industry experience in leading environmental risk and sustainability programmes will help expand the capabilities of Chubb Resilience Services. Previously, she served at KPMG LLP as the US ESG Hub Lead.

Paul O’Neill, Executive Vice President, Chief Underwriting Officer, North America Property, and Head of Field Engineering, commented on the appointment, “Our innovative physical risk assessment offering fills a pressing client need to better understand climate-driven physical risk and enhance their resiliency as they transition to a low-carbon economy.
