EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants (EPIC) has expanded its presence in the midwest of the US with the acquisition of Phillips Bros. Insurance Agency.

Based in Chicago, Phillips Bros. is a multi-line firm that focuses on private client and commercial property & casualty solutions.

The fifth-generation family-run firm led by father-and-son duo Kevin and Charlie Phillips joined EPIC to leverage its resource-rich platform to grow faster and bring new enhancements to their retail and private clients.

The firm will continue to provide the comprehensive protection and superior customer service that clients have come to expect.

EPIC’s acquisition of Phillips Bros. will significantly bolster its growth specifically in the Chicago area.

It will strengthen both the firm’s private client practice, led by President of National Personal Insurance Tim Brenneman, and its commercial practice, led by EPIC Insurance Midwest President Tim Bender.
