Melanie Windirsch has been appointed the new Head of International Programmes (IP) at HDI Global SE.
She succeeds Dr Dirk Höring, who held the position before being promoted to the HDI Global SE Executive Board in April.
Dr Kuhnt, COO and CIO of HDI Global commented, “I am delighted to welcome Melanie to my leadership team. Her extensive experience and deep knowledge of the industry make her an invaluable asset to HDI Global.
“I am truly excited to work alongside Melanie and tap into her expertise to further drive our proposition in International Programmes. With her on board, I am confident that we will continue to strengthen our position as the leading German insurer of International Programmes.”
In her new role, Windirsch will manage over 50 colleagues in the departments of HDI Global IP Services, IP Operations and Technology, and Global Network.
Windirsch brings over 12 years of industry experience, with expertise in Corporate Insurance. She previously worked at Allianz Commercia, as the Head of Global Network Management and Multinational Governance.
Windirsch added, “I am excited and honoured to be joining a company and team that is at the forefront of International Programmes.
“Acting as our multinational clients’ preferred Partner in Transformation, our team creates an entrepreneurial environment that enables clients’ innovation and expansion by offering them worldwide compliance in risk transfer solutions.
“As the new Head of International Programmes, I am eager to further extend our worldwide leading presence of IP services for the benefit of our multinational partners and their business.”
